More Open-Breed Opportunities: EUROPAINT 2026 INTRODUCES NSBA ALLBREED CLASSES
The EuroPaint – European Paint Horse Championships – is expanding its program in 2026 by introducing NSBA USA Allbreed classes for the very first time.
From August 22–29, 2026, riders at Gut Matheshof in Rieden/Kreuth will have the opportunity to compete in selected NSBA classes with horses of any breed.
In addition to the IRHA classes already included in the schedule, the new NSBA classes create even more open-breed opportunities at the EuroPaint — including for riders who previously could not compete with us because of their horse’s breed.
What to expect:
- professionally organized show at an internationally renowned show facility
• two judges counting toward each class result
• NSBA USA approved classes
• Open, Amateur, Novice Amateur, Youth and Novice Youth divisions
• attractive jackpot classes with approximately 75% payout of entry fees
• a shared show experience with your Paint Horse friends, barn mates and training groups
The new format is especially attractive for trainers presenting horses of different breeds, making it possible to bring multiple clients to the EuroPaint and compete together at one event.
Requirements:
No APHA or PHCG membership is required for the NSBA classes. Horses, owners and riders simply need to be registered with or hold a membership through the NSBA. Short-notice registrations and memberships can be arranged.
Of course, our Paint Horse exhibitors can also enter the NSBA Class-in-Class divisions in addition to their regular classes. The pattern is ridden only once, while the result counts simultaneously toward the NSBA standings — including the opportunity to earn additional jackpot prize money.
The updated schedule already identifies the NSBA Class-in-Class classes accordingly.
The Announcement with all further information will be published soon.
